Deep crimson colour with an inviting aroma of damsons and violets. The palate is beautifully restrained, with a firm and generous core of blackcurrants, liquorice, mint and dark chocolate, held together by fine, silky tannins. The impression is of elegance and arrow-like precision, Margaux-esque in style. Everything is beautifully controlled, to the last haunting moment. Australia at its best. 13.5%
