▴ Silver Heights Emma’s Reserve 2017

Silver Heights Emma’s Reserve 2017, Ningxia, China

Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, Emma’s Reserve is only made in the best years, and its annual production is 2,000 bottles. It’s aged in new French oak barrels, and the 15% alcohol is not noticeable on the palate. The wine is a very deep purple. Layers of generous, concentrated fresh blackcurrants intermingle with fresh mint and eucalyptus, bringing to the wine a savoury and fresh character; the oak is well integrated, and it has a seductive and long, persistent finish.
