New to the Liberty portfolio, this Barbera was truly impressive. An inviting, intriguing aroma of wild cherries, on the palate an explosion of black cherries, redcurrants and sage ripping out of the glass, an impression of incredible energy amongst the joyous layers of mountain fruit. A firm corset of silky tannins holding everything in place adds to the drama of this wine. Power and hedonism combined – terrific. 14.5%
